Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson held his youth football camp in Norman, Oklahoma the week of July 22-26. I was fortunate to be a part of this camp, as D1 Little Rock coaches were brought in to run the speed and fitness day sponsored by the U.S. Army.
AP told us his favorite way to train is running hills. “It strengthens your legs and it puts you at the angle you’re supposed to be in when you run,” said Peterson. Despite the scorching 103 degree temperatures beating down on the flat intramural fields on the OU campus, teaming up with the greatest back in the NFL was quite a treat.
