Macssistance: The Book

02 5 2010

Nothing is official, so don’t get too excited. I recently signed with a book agent and have submitted a book proposal to 13 publishers. Now comes the hard part – the waiting.

I don’t want to give too much of the book away – if it ever does get published I want you to go out and spend some money on it. But I do want to let readers of Macssistance.com in on the concept. And no, the title won’t be Macssistance.

I’ve never revealed my religious views on this site, but I’m going to now. I’m a Christian. In the Bible, the apostle Paul uses sports analogies to explain what a relationship with Jesus Christ is all about. My book does something similar by using weight room principles to explain Christianity.

If you are a Christian, this book will tell you some things you already know, and hopefully explain some you’ve never really understood. If you are not a Christian, your familiarity with health, wellness, and exercise will further make the concept of Christianity more palpable. No matter which category you find yourself in, I hope to one day have a book on the shelves that you’ll want to read.

And I promise, Macssistance.com readers will be among the first to hear any further updates. For my agent’s website, visit www.livingwordliterary.wordpress.com.
