My Fitness Rushmore | 16 / 02 / 2010 | 0

No one is born knowing everything. John Locke would argue, in fact, that everyone is born knowing absolutely nothing. Like anyone, most of what I know has been passed down to me by a great teacher. I’d like to use this post to recognize the 4 most influential people on my fitness knowledge.

My New Favorite Website | 19 / 01 / 2010 | 0

Looking over my previous posts, I’ve put nutrition related pieces more frequently than most other categories. This is ironic, considering I know much less about nutrition than I do the other categories covered on this blog.
Perhaps the reason I enjoy posting so much on nutrition is that I have so much to learn. I recently […]

If you have ever seen the same 230-pound man run for an hour on a treadmill 3 times a week and never get skinnier, there may be a good reason why. Maybe you are the 230-pounder that can’t get any lighter on the scales. In either case, research exists showing the superiority of strength and […]

Invest With Caution: MET-Rx Big 100 | 30 / 06 / 2008 | 0

MET-Rx is one of those supplement companies we’ve all heard of. They are one of the big boys in the industry, so it’s no surprise they are able to find ways to produce tasty merchandise. In fact, of all the supplements I’ve tried, I’m partial to MET-Rx items simply because their stuff doesn’t taste like […]

Not So Fast Diet Soda Drinkers | 30 / 05 / 2008 | 2

Diet sodas are certainly a health fad of today. Their popularity has soared within the past decade, especially with the introduction of Splenda, which took over for Nutri-Sweet some years ago. It makes sense that so many people frequently drink them. They don’t have the calories of a regular soda, provide a similar taste, and […]
